After oats, sugar, eggs and oatmeal, Ukrainian honey will now be subject to tariff quotas from 21 August. The automatic safeguard provided for in the regulation on autonomous trade measures against Ukraine was triggered on Wednesday 21 August for Ukrainian honey, after imports of this product exceeded the maximum volume below which they are exempt from tariffs (44,417.56 tonnes per year).
