On 13 August, the European Commission authorised €99.5 million in Romanian aid for Nokian Tyres.
The aim of this support is to create a new zero CO2 emission plant that will produce tyres for passenger cars in Oradea, Bihor County (Nord-Vest region). The measure will help to achieve the EU’s strategic objectives in terms of job creation and regional development, as well as the regional economy’s green transition.
