European Commission and European Olympic Committees sign an agreement to promote European and Olympic values

The Vice-President of the European Commission, Margarítis Schinás, and the President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC), Spyros Capralos, signed a new cooperation agreement on Friday 26 July as the Paris Olympic Games got underway.

The aim of this act is to promote both European and Olympic values and the social role of sport.
