Faced with a world in “polycrisis”, Jutta Urpilainen reaffirms merits of ‘Global Gateway’ strategy

On Monday 1 July, the European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, praised the merits of the ‘Global Gateway’ development cooperation strategy, launched in 2021 by the European Commission. 

“Europe’s answer to this paradigm shift is our ‘Global Gateway’ strategy, which seeks to boost resilience for the EU and partner countries alike” she said during a visit to the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA) in Dublin.
