EU-Japan agreement on data flows enters into force

01/07/2024 (Agence Europe) – The protocol to facilitate the free movement of data with Japan officially comes into force on Monday1 July. Integrated into the Economic Partnership Agreement, the main aim of this protocol is to enable a smoother transition of data between the EU and Japan for companies doing business in both regions.
