European trade unions call on Member States to approve latest compromise on European works councils on 5 June

With the Member States set to vote on a new compromise on the revision of the European Works Council (EWC) Directive on Wednesday 5 June, the representatives of the European trade unions (ETUC, industriAll Europe, UNI Europa, EFFAT, EFBWW, ETF and EPSU) have taken their turn in calling on the representatives of the Member States to adopt this latest compromise (see EUROPE B13422A14) and maintain an ambitious approach.
