EU opens anti-dumping investigation into Chinese vanillin

24/05/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday, 24 May, the European Commission announced that it was launching an anti-dumping investigation into vanillin imports from China. Vanillin is an organic compound found in vanilla beans as well as other plant and animal sources. A complaint was filed in April 2024 by the EU’s largest vanillin producer, Syensqo.
