EU launches anti-dumping investigation into Chinese lysine

23/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 23 May, the European Commission announced the opening of an anti-dumping investigation into imports of lysine from China. This is an amino acid used in food supplements. The EU’s sole producer, Metex Noovistago, lodged a complaint in April 2024, suspecting that Chinese imports were causing it injury.
