EU27 approve regulation imposing tariffs on certain Russian and Belarusian agricultural products

On Wednesday 22 May, the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the Member States to the EU (Coreper) gave the go-ahead for tariff increases on a number of agricultural products imported from Russia and Belarus (see EUROPE B13377A1). On Thursday 30 May, EU trade ministers will be asked to adopt the regulation amending customs duty rates.
