EU is suffering from lack of training and skills in cybersecurity in private sector, according to Eurobarometer

A Eurobarometer survey published on Wednesday 22 May shows that the shortage of cyber-skills in the EU is worsening, and that the Union needs more cybersecurity specialists in all businesses, given the upsurge in new threats.

While the survey reveals a general consensus that cybersecurity is a priority for businesses (71% respond favourably), the main challenge is to act on these needs. 74% of companies have not provided training or raised awareness of cybersecurity among their employees,...
