2027 European Games, European Olympic Committees have signed memorandum of understanding with municipality of Istanbul

The European Olympic Committees (EOC) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Metropolitan Municipality of Istanbul and the Turkish National Olympic Committee (NOC) on Thursday 16 May in Rome (Italy), with a view to the 2027 European Games.

The signing by EOC President Spyros Capralos, Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Turkish NOC Vice-President Kazım Kiremitçioğlu precedes the formal ratification of the agreement by the EOC General Assembly in June.
