European Commission mobilises additional €1.4 billion to support Horizon Europe 2023-2024 work programme

On Wednesday 17 April, the European Commission announced the adoption of a modification to the 2023-2024 work programme for the European framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe. The amendment will see the mobilisation of previously unallocated funds underHorizon Europe, bringing the budget for the period concerned to €7.3 billion, an increase of almost €1.4 billion.
