EU extends sanctions linked to repression and support for war in Ukraine for another year

26/02/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 26 February, the EU Council decided to extend by one year, until 28 February 2025, the restrictive measures linked to internal repression in Belarus and the regime’s support for Russia’s war against Ukraine. The various restrictive measures include an asset freeze and a ban on making funds available to sanctioned individuals and entities.
