On Monday 12 February, Indonesia called for consultations at the World Trade Organization (WTO) with the European Union over the latter’s anti-dumping tariffs on Indonesian fatty acids. This is the first stage of the WTO dispute settlement procedure.
Jakarta believes that the European measures are incompatible with WTO rules, in particular the Agreement on Tariffs and Trade.
