European Commission approves €56 million Romanian measure to support pig and poultry farmers

09/02/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 9 February, the European Commission announced that it had authorised, under the temporary framework for State aid during crisis and transition periods (see EUROPE B13296A18), a Romanian State aid scheme with a budget of around €56 million to support pig and poultry farmers affected by the consequences of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
