Police cooperation, European Parliament validates new rules on automated exchange of data

08/02/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 8 February, the European Parliament gave the green light to the new Prüm 2 rules allowing the automated exchange of DNA data, facial images and police records between Member States (see EUROPE B13297A22), by 451 votes to 94 with 10 abstentions.
