Hungarian parliamentary session on Sweden’s accession to Alliance adjourned

06/02/24 (Agence Europe) – The session of the Hungarian Parliament requested by the opposition to discuss Ukraine’s accession to Sweden was adjourned on Monday 5 February for lack of a quorum. As announced, the Fidesz party MPs did not stand, leaving only the 51 elected opposition members from the 199 seats in Parliament (see EUROPE B13342A19).
