Three new Heads of Representation in Sofia, Budapest, and Berlin

06/02/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday, 6 February, the European Commission announced the appointment of new heads for three of its Representations in Member States as well as two regional offices. Bulgarian Yordanka Chobanova has thus been appointed to Sofia; Hungarian Gabor Zupko (who previously held this post between 2015 and 2022), to Budapest; German Barbara Gessler, to Berlin; German Wolfgang Bücherl, to Munich; and German Stefan Lock, to Bonn.
