Details of European Parliament/EU Council agreement on strengthened anti-money laundering rules

24/01/24 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 17 January, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament reached a provisional agreement on the revised Directive (‘AMLD 6’) and the strengthened Regulation (‘AMLR’) on the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT).
