Electricity consumption in EU is not expected to return to 2021 levels until 2026, as global production from low-carbon sources accelerates, according to IEA

In its new 2024 electricity market report, published on Wednesday 24 January, the International Energy Agency (IEA) says that global electricity demand is expected to grow faster over the next three years as the transition to clean energy accelerates.
