Register of Damage for Ukraine to be fully operational by end of April

Created in May 2023 following the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe in Reykjavik (see EUROPE B13184A2), the Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine was presented to the press by its Executive Director, Markiyan Kliuchkovskyi, on Wednesday 24 January in Strasbourg.

This mechanism will be based on an IT platform where complaints supported by evidence can be lodged. To be eligible, these complaints will have to...
