Belgian Presidency of Council of EU will have to find new compromises with European Parliament to save directive on workers on digital platforms

On 22 December, the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU inherited the dossier on digital platform workers, after the Spanish Presidency failed to validate the provisional agreement reached with the European Parliament on the night of 12 to 13 December (see EUROPE B13319A3).

According to a Presidency spokesperson, it is due to hold a new trilogue on 22 January, after further consultations with the European Parliament.
