19/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 19 December, the European Commission received Lithuania’s second payment request for €360 million in loans net of pre-financing and Estonia’s second payment request under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), for a payment of €122.3 million in grants net of pre-financing (see EUROPE 13316/18). The Commission will now assess the request and will then forward to the EU Council’s Economic and Financial Committee its preliminary assessment of Lithuania’s compliance with the milestones and targets required for these payments. In the case of Lithuania, the Commission has concluded that milestone 144 has been satisfactorily completed.
