Two leaders of the military wing of Hamas added to EU list

08/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 8 December, the Council of the European Union added two people to the EU list of people and organisations linked to terrorism, in response to the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel on 7 October. The two people appointed are Mohammed Deif and Marwan Issa, respectively Commander General and Deputy Commander of the Ezzedin al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.
