ACER to consult on strategies to overcome barriers to electricity demand response

The Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) indicated on Thursday, 16 November, that it would be consulting on strategies to implement so as to overcome barriers to electricity demand response in EU Member States.

“Electricity demand response occurs when consumers (or aggregators on their behalf) adjust their consumption or production, in response to price signals”, ACER explains.
