The latest data from the ‘Farm Accountancy Data Network’ (FADN) for the 2021 accounting year, published on Friday 10 November by the European Commission, show that average farm income in the EU has risen to €28,800 per worker in 2021.
This increase over the last decade can be attributed to a fall in the number of farm workers and a faster growth in the value of production than in costs.
