On Friday 10 November, the European Commission announced that it had authorised a Luxembourg aid scheme worth €15 million to support the protection of biodiversity in the agricultural sector through measures to conserve natural habitats and wild fauna and flora in rural areas, as well as measures to support environmentally and climate-friendly farming practices.
The scheme is open to small and medium-sized enterprises in the primary agricultural production sector.
