European Commission grants €250 million to Member States to strengthen management of migration flows

The “Commission will provide financial support of more than €250 million to its Member States to strengthen the management of migration flows”, according to a press release.

The institution organised two calls for projects in February, inviting EU Member States to submit applications for funding under the Home Affairs Funds.

The Commission will provide €141 million for fibre optics and software to improve the exchange and processing of data between border posts and command centres...
