27/10/23 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has paved the way for better coordination of export controls at EU level, by publishing an initial compilation of Member States’ national export control lists, on 20 October. From now on, EU countries will be able to impose export restrictions on products already on the control lists of other Member States, provided that these products are included in the Commission’s compilation. The first list published includes restrictions from the Netherlands and Spain, and will be updated as soon as the Member States notify the Commission of new control measures.
