05/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 4 October, the European Commission launched a new call for applications as part of the DiscoverEU initiative, which will enable 36,000 young people to travel around Europe free of charge for 30 days between the beginning of March 2024 and the end of May 2025. Open until midday on Wednesday 18 October, this call for applications is aimed at young people born in 2005 and from a European Union country or a third country associated with the Erasmus+ programme (Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey). It is open to young people from disadvantaged social groups and to participants with disabilities or health problems, who will receive special assistance during their trip. Successful applicants will also be able to discover the itinerary of the ‘New European Bauhaus’, presented in January 2023. The Erasmus+ national agencies help young people by organising pre-departure information meetings. To find out more, go to https://aeur.eu/f/8x6 (MB)
