21/09/23 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission launched, on Thursday 21 September, the third round of joint gas purchases through the AggregateEU mechanism, building on the success of the first two calls for tender. According to the European Union institution (see EUROPE 13218/8), these have enabled cumulative demand of 27.5 billion m3 to be gathered, of which 22.9 billion m3 has been taken up by suppliers considered to be reliable. European companies have until Wednesday 27 September to register their requirements. Collective demand will then be put out to tender on the world market on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 October, so that international suppliers can submit their offers to supply European customers.
