Green light for acquisition of NEoT by Mitsui, EDF and Forsee Power

21/09/23 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 21 September, the European Commission announced that the previous day it had authorised the acquisition of joint control of NEoT Capital S.A.A. (France), by Mitsui to Co., Ltd. (Japan), EDF Pulse Holding S.A.S (France) and Forsee Power S.A. (France), by means of a share purchase. NEoT, which is active in energy consulting and asset management, is currently jointly controlled by EDF and Forsee Power. The transaction, notified on 29 August and examined under the simplified merger control procedure, also involves asset management in the energy sector.
