Pesticides and bees, EFSA publishes revised guidance document for risk assessment using tiered approach

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has updated its 2013 guidance document on the risk assessment of pesticides for bees and published the revised document on Thursday 11 May, responding to a request made by the European Commission in 2019.

The result of a lengthy consultation with Member States and all stakeholders, this document is a guide for the assessment of these risks to honey bees, bumble bees and solitary bees in agricultural areas using a methodology that takes into account...
