Negotiating team wants European Parliament to approve agreement on revised ‘Renewable Energy’ Directive in July

The European Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) will be asked on 22 and 23 May to approve the agreement reached at the end of March with the Council of the EU on the revision of the Renewable Energy Directive (see EUROPE B13153A1). However, MEPs call for the validation process to be sped up.
