EU mobilises €8 million in aid for vulnerable people in South-East Asia

11/05/23 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 11 May, the European Commission approved the mobilisation of €8 million in humanitarian aid for the most vulnerable populations in South-East Asia who are “suffering the dramatic consequences of climate shocks and conflicts”, emphasised European Commissioner Janez Lenarčič. A proportion of these funds are earmarked for disaster preparedness, such as Typhoon Rai and Tropical Storm Nalgae. The aid is then distributed as follows:...
