Ursula von der Leyen in Kyiv for Europe Day

08/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, will visit Kyiv on Tuesday 9 May. The visit aims to “reaffirm the EU’s unwavering support for Ukraine” and will be held in conjunction with Europe Day, her spokesperson said. Earlier on Monday, Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, announced that his country would henceforth celebrate this European day.
