European Commission authorises Poland to grant €435.4 million in direct subsidies to wheat producers

05/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 5 May, the European Commission authorised Polish aid measures worth €435.4 million to support wheat producers. Poland is therefore authorised to give direct subsidies of a maximum of €250 000 per beneficiary to wheat producers affected by grain imports from Ukraine (see EUROPE B13165A1, EUROPE B13164A23).
