EU mobilises €200,000 in emergency aid for Sudan

28/04/2023 (Agence Europe) – In response to the violent fighting in Sudan, the European Commission has released €200,000 in emergency humanitarian aid to help people injured or at high risk in Khartoum and other affected States. This announcement was made on Friday 28 April, when the broken ceasefire was extended for 3 days. The EU grant will enable the Sudanese Red Crescent Society to provide first aid, evacuation services and psychosocial support to some 70,000 people in Khartoum,...
