The European Parliament voted by 472 votes to 122 with 41 abstentions in favour of a motion for a resolution on the European Parliament’s estimates of revenue and expenditure for the financial year 2024, tabled by rapporteur Nils Ušakovs (S&D, Latvian).
The proposed budget amounts to just under €2.4 billion. It is therefore 6.06% higher than the 2023 budget.
