On Thursday 13 April, the European Commission published the latest monthly report on agri-food trade, which shows that EU agri-food trade amounted to €401.5 billion in the year 2022, with a positive trade balance of €58 billion.
Despite the rise in world prices, the volume of trade in agri-food products did not decrease. On the contrary, it increased, according to the Commission’s report.
