On Thursday 13 April, the European Commission approved a €1 billion Hungarian aid package to support companies facing rising energy costs in the context of the war in Ukraine.
The scheme was authorised under the State aid Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework, adopted by the Commission on 9 March 2023.
