01/03/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission and key stakeholders signed a joint declaration on Wednesday 1 March highlighting the crucial role of sustained efforts in renewable hydrogen research and innovation. With this declaration, the European Commission, the European hydrogen industry, the scientific community and European regions have all made a commitment to intensify and accelerate joint actions on research, development, demonstration and deployment of Hydrogen Valleys. According to the European Commission, the joint statement also calls for sustained investment, strengthening synergies between funding resources, sharing knowledge, stimulating the development of education and training for skills, and creating regional hydrogen networks and interconnections between Hydrogen Valleys.
