13/02/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on Monday 13 February re-released structured data sets published on 24 January in the International Uniform Chemical Information Database (IUCLID) for 348 pharmaceuticals approved in the EU, including results of non-clinical animal studies and information on humans. These structured data sets are available for industry and research. They support the toxicity assessment of structurally similar chemicals to reduce the need for animal clinical trials. According to ECHA, this data can also be used to develop predictive models and correlation analyses from animal and human data. ECHA announces that 530 structured datasets on pharmaceuticals and a scientific document on these datasets will be available in 2023. Link to IUCLID: https://aeur.eu/f/5b3 (EV)
