Portugal receives second RRF payment of €1.8 billion

08/02/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 8 February, the European Commission made a payment of €1.8 billion to Portugal under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF). This payment includes €1.7 billion in grants and €109 million in loans, excluding pre-financing. On 30 September 2022, Portugal submitted to the Commission a second RRF payment claim of €1.8 billion covering 20 milestones and targets.
