Helena Viñes Fiestas appointed Chair of Platform on Sustainable Finance

The European Commission announced on Wednesday 8 February that it had appointed Helena Viñes Fiestas as Chair of the Platform on Sustainable Finance (see EUROPE B13077A18). Ms Viñes Fiestas is, inter alia, a commissioner of the Spanish Financial Markets Authority and a member of the UN High Level Panel on Net Zero Commitments.

The Commission also appointed the members of the new mandate. It selected 28 members and five observers from the private sector on the basis of their expertise...
