26/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday, 26 January, the European Commission indicated that no fewer than 17 EU Member States still had not complied with the Enforcement Directive on Posting of Workers. Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia were each sent a reasoned opinion. The European Commission is reproaching them for not ensuring the compliance of various national provisions transposing Directive 2014/67/EU, which strengthens the practical application of the rules on posting “by addressing issues related to fighting fraud and circumvention of rules, access to information, and administrative cooperation between EU Member States”. The directive notably defines the control measures for monitoring compliance with the rules on posting. Link to the reasoned opinions: https://aeur.eu/f/531 (SP)
