Spain condemned for breach of ‘air quality’ directive

22/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 22 December, the Court of Justice of the European Union condemned Spain for systematically infringing, between 2010 and 2018, the European directive (2008/50) limiting nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions from motor traffic in Barcelona and Madrid (case C-125/20).
