On Wednesday 21 December, the European Commission published the latest monthly report on agri-food trade, which shows that EU agri-food exports and imports increased in September 2022.
EU exports have been on the rise since the beginning of the year, reaching €20.9 billion in that month. The value of EU imports was €15.6 billion, resulting in a positive trade balance for the EU of €5.8 billion.
