EU Council adopts regulation to combat unfair foreign subsidies

28/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – The regulation that will allow the EU to fight foreign subsidies that distort competition is nearing the end of the legislative process. The EU Council adopted it on Monday 28 November, marking the last step before publication in the Official Journal. The European Parliament and the Member States quickly agreed on the text in June (see EUROPE B12984A1) and MEPs gave the green light to the agreement in November (see EUROPE B13061A10).
