Irish Data Protection Commission fines Meta Group €265 million for leaking user data

28/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 28 November, the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) fined the Meta Group - which includes Facebook - €265 million following the data leak of more than 530 million users in 2019. The investigation, conducted on behalf of the EU, was initiated in April 2021.
